What would it look like to faithfully center your family around Scripture—not occasionally, but consistently over years of ordinary life?
That is the question at the heart of the very first edition of Biblearc Field Notes.
In this opening newsletter, Andrew J. Hubert shared a simple but deeply practical encouragement for fathers and families: God has not left us wondering what faithful discipleship in the home should look like. In Deuteronomy 6:4–9, we are given clear marching orders—to love God wholeheartedly and to diligently place his Word before our families in the everyday rhythms of life.
As Andrew wrote, the call to center our families around God’s Word is nothing less than “The Great Commission of the Old Testament.”

Andrew reminded readers to expect the process to be challenging at times. Family devotions may feel awkward at first. Attention may wander. Certain passages may feel difficult to understand. Yet the long-term fruit of centering a family around Scripture is immeasurable.
As he wrote:
