What about the remaining time on my legacy Biblearc subscription?
That time will be converted to credit in the new system. This also takes into account any subscription add-ons you have.
What happens if I do not convert my subscription to Biblearc TOOLS?
When legacy Biblearc is shutdown, your work will be transferred over to the new Biblearc. You will be able to use Biblearc TOOLS for the remainder of the time that you have paid for (and Biblearc EQUIP if you had the Online Courses add-on). However, your subscription will no longer renew. Once expired, you will need to sign up for a Biblearc TOOLS (or EQUIP) subscription in order to continue using Biblearc.
I live in the developing world and so have received a free subscription on legacy Biblearc. What will happen on Biblearc TOOLS?
We have made three changes to how subscriptions work for users in the developing world:
- We have moved to a whatever-you-can-afford policy for countries in the developing world. This includes the option of a free subscription, while also giving folks who can afford a discounted rate the opportunity to support Biblearc’s ministry.
- Our setup is now VPN-friendly so that those living in developing countries with security concerns can use Biblearc via a VPN.
- We have reevaluated which countries qualify for our whatever-you-can-afford policy to those with more than 5% of their population living on less than $5.50 per day.
What if I have a group subscription?
Your group subscription setup will automatically be transferred over to Biblearc TOOLS.
What if I have unused gift certificates?
If you have already applied the gift certificate to your legacy Biblearc account, then the remaining balance will be credited to the new system when you convert your subscription to Biblearc TOOLS. For completely unused gift certificates, please contact us and we will help you apply them to the new Biblearc.
