The pragmatics of Arcing come down to two simple steps that we employ to discern the flow of thought, that is, the logic of the text.
Just as a person learning car mechanics might disassemble a car engine only to try and put it back together, Arcing is used to dissect the text of Scripture so as to re-connect it with the hope of learning how it works.
