Lesson 2 | Teaching With Authority
Assignment: Leading a Bible Study
Write a Bible study outline based upon a text that you have studied via Arcing, Bracketing or Phrasing.
1. Prepare a shared page with an arc, bracket or phrase of your choice. This may be work you have done in the past, or a new study. You must be the author of this work, and it should be based upon a New Testament text. Be sure it includes a main point summary.
2. Create a Bible study outline for teaching this text.
Base your work on the structure of the arc, bracket, or phrase you shared above.
Write out the most important pieces to that study in full so as to be able to communicate them most clearly (e.g. main points, questions, introductory words and conclusions).
Point to the text at least three times, and include at least three questions.
** Women are encouraged to write an outline to teach a children's Sunday school class.

When you are finished, submit the lesson. Your coach will give you feedback, typically within 3-5 days.
