Lesson 6 | The Word and the World [1]

As we teach and preach, we must keep one eye on the word and one eye on the world.

This will enable us to communicate what it is in the word to the world.

What we learned this lesson

1. The word lays out the worldview; the world provides the context.
2. The word presents truths; the world presents metaphors.
3. The word gives us a vision of holiness; the world gives context for incarnation.
4. The word provides answers to the questions prompted by the world.
