Phrasing and Diagramming Modules
To complete the Guided Practices in the next part of this lesson, you will need to know how to use the Phrasing and Diagramming modules.
Phrasing Module
Understand editing mode.
When you want to make changes to your phrase, toggle Editing on from the module’s menu bar. You may also use the spacebar as a shortcut for toggling in and out of editing mode.
Divide phrases.
Click after a word to start a new phrase. Drag a phrase to the one above it to rejoin them.
Indent phrases.
Drag phrases to the left or right to show subordination or parallelism.
Use dot notes.
Record insights and questions as you arc by using the round + button that appears next to the Editing toggle when in Editing mode.
Diagramming Module
