Lesson 5 | Aorist Participles

Assignment (Part 1)

Find and parse the aorist (perfective) participles.
  1. Look through Matthew 5:1–2 to find the aorist participles. You do not need to translate these verses, just find the aorist participles. Then color them red to show that they are in the aorist tense-form, and highlight them purple to show that they are participles.
  2. Next, copy or write each aorist participle from the phrasing module and paste it into the notes module. (Open the Notes tab by clicking the up arrow button.)
  3. Finally, parse the aorist participles. Include its tense-form, voice, case, gender, number, and lexical form.
Example
ἐγερθεὶς - aorist, passive, participle, nominative, masculine, singular from ἐγείρω.
