Lesson 3 | Vocab

New Vocabulary

By the time you've learned all the vocab from this course, you'll know nearly all the words that occur up to 70 times in the Greek New Testament. By the end of Greek IV, you'll know every single word that occurs up to 50 times!
You've already learned several verbs in Greek I and II, but you'll learn many more in Greek III, besides finally learning how to parse them. (One reminder: as we explained in Greek II, we will memorize verbs in the present, active, indicative, first person, singular form because Greek lexicons list verbs by this form.) You'll also continue to learn nouns, adjectives, prepositions, and connectors. Five of the new words in this lesson are verbs.
In this lesson, you'll learn 12 words, several of which have helpful English derivatives.
