Lesson 3 | Vocab
New Vocabulary
By the time you've learned all the vocab from this course, you'll know nearly all the words that occur up to 70 times in the Greek New Testament. By the end of Greek IV, you'll know every single word that occurs up to 50 times!
You've already learned several verbs in Greek I and II, but you'll learn many more in Greek III, besides finally learning how to parse them. (One reminder: as we explained in Greek II, we will memorize verbs in the present, active, indicative, first person, singular form because Greek lexicons list verbs by this form.) You'll also continue to learn nouns, adjectives, prepositions, and connectors. Five of the new words in this lesson are verbs.
In this lesson, you'll learn 12 words, several of which have helpful English derivatives.
I drive out; send out (verb)
mine (possessive pronoun)
We've also made a Quizlet with all the vocabulary words in Greek II to help you prepare for the vocab quiz in this lesson, as well as to help you review!
Greek III VocabularyHere are all the vocab words you will learn in Greek III. We highly recommend that you print this document out and use it in working on your Greek vocabulary when away from your computer.
