Song: בָּרוּךְ־יְהֹוָה
In this lesson, let’s learn a short song: just one verse from Psalm 106. Just one verse, but may it call out a response of praise from your heart for what the God of the New Covenant has done for you.
Unlike in previous weeks, you know all the words in this song, except for אָמֵ֗ן, which is transliterated into English as “amen,” and יָֽהּ, the shortened form of יְהֹוָה.
Try to translate this verse below, using the Hebrew text from the video above. The two verbs might be tricky, since we haven’t taught you how to translate verbs yet, but you should be able to get close, based on the sense of the words you know.
