New Vocabulary
Now it is time to learn the vocabulary words for Lesson 3. You will learn 19 new words: 11 nouns, seven verbs, and one adjective. Watch for cognates next to each other to aid your memory, and practice saying the words as you study them.
This verb is often used with בְּרִית above, to “cut” a covenant, meaning to make a covenant.
Bethlehem means “house of bread.” Don’t confuse this noun with לָחַם, though you might think of having a “fight” over “bread” to remember them both!

This adjective has two of the same consonants as the noun רַע, with an added שׁ in the middle.
