Lesson 3 | Verbs—imperfect

Assignment 3: Writing Hebrew Verbs

Tell a story using the Hebrew verbs you have learned so far in the course.

Using the verbs you have learned so far in the course, tell a short story. The base content of the story can be in English, except for 10 or more times where you should properly inflect and use Hebrew verbs that we have learned so far in the course. The story can be fictitious or real, from your life or another’s. The point is simply to actively practice conjugating verbs to the perfect and imperfect. While writing Hebrew is not the aim of this course, you will find practice like this significantly helps you read.
Note: Vowel markings are less important. If you can figure out how to type them, great. If you only write consonants, that is okay too.
