In the module below, we have marked the phrase “placed before the temple” (v. 1) with an initial question, “What is the significance of the baskets being set before the temple?”
  1. Use thin highlights in yellow to markup 2–3 words or phrases related to this question.
  2. Write a dot note to record an observation related to one of your highlights.
  3. Choose a second word or phrase that raises a question of your own and highlight it with a new color.
  4. Highlight two related details.
