Lesson 10 | Putting it all together

Don't leave it on the shelf

So where do you go from here? My own experience is that if you don’t implement new tools right away, they end up sitting on the shelf, as you resort to old habits, patterns, and methods. The new tool may not yet feel natural in your hand, but through continued practice it will gain familiarity and find a place in your tool box that makes it readily available. Moreover, you will find ways to adjust and customize the tool to fit your needs and workflow.
With this end in mind, I encourage you to start now, at the completion of this course, to form a plan of study in which you can implement these tools right away. Specifically, choose a short book of the Bible (or a section from a longer book) to study using the method outlined here, culminating in a full paraphrase, summaries of each section, and takeaways.

Alternatively, you can make a copy of this plan and customize it in Google Docs.
