Write a paraphrase and main point summary of 1 Thessalonians 2:1-8.

  1. Carefully reread 1 Thessalonians 2:1-8. Make careful observations and ask probing questions along the way. (Optional: you may want to include a few key observations or questions in one or more dot notes in the Discourse module.)
  2. Divide the text into units of thought.
  3. Bold the connector words, and highlight the main point and primary supports.
  4. Add a MINE column and write a paraphrase.
  5. Write a concise summary that expresses the main point along with the primary supports.
