In Lesson 1, we began turning our focus upon Colossians 1:15-23. One of our goals in this course is to memorize Colossians 1:15-23. Why? Because putting these words in our hearts and minds allows the Holy Spirit to shape us by these words. The Spirit works through the words of the Bible to fuel love and worship for Jesus in and among us. So, as we memorize these words, let us do so in the hope and confidence that the Spirit will use these words to keep us clinging to Jesus with all that we desire, all that we are, and all that we have.
In this lesson, we will memorize this passage in two steps. First, we will write out the entire text of Colossians 1:15-23. Then, we will use a fill-in-the-blank activity to help us.
First, write the entire text of Colossians 1:15-23 in the box below. Do so by hovering over / tapping each verse in turn. Use the NIV so that we can memorize the passage altogether.
Now, fill in the missing spaces in the text below. Try to do this without looking at what you wrote above.

If you know how to arc or bracket, I encourage you to try to do so below. If you do not know but want to learn, check out Biblearc's Arcing and Bracketing courses.
