Phrase through 1 John in the context of a community that is serious about seeing and savoring God’s glory in Christ in all of Scripture.

Overview
This book study leads students to phrase through the entire book of 1 John. Thus it gives students opportunities to dive more deeply into the message of 1 John while sharpening their skill in the Phrasing Bible study method. Students will do all this in the context of a community that is serious about seeing and savoring God's glory in Christ in all of Scripture.
Objectives
This book study aims to accomplish the following objectives:
To help students learn the book of 1 John more deeply than ever before.
To guide students to discover the grammatical structure and intended meaning of 1 John.
To be challenged and assured through the truths discovered.
To equip students with the knowledge and skill to phrase NT epistles faithfully.
Format
Create an initial phrase (Passes 1-4) and work through the key issues of the text. (About two hours of work.)
Watch key clips from the live discussion and view the instructor’s phrase. (About one hour.)
Complete the Fifth Pass of Phrasing and ask your coach outstanding questions. (About one hour.)
Am I ready for this course?
Students should come to this course with a basic skill and knowledge of the Bible study method known as Phrasing. Students may gain such understanding via Biblearc’s Phrasing Path Course.
