Introduction
Lord, you have done and you are doing so much for us: you formed us, and you squeeze out every beat of our hearts. And even before that, you foreknew us, predestined us to Christ’s likeness, called us, and justified us, and you are currently doing the work of glorifying us day-by-day in sanctification. We joyfully await your two great future works of our redemption: instantly incinerating our sin nature when we see your Son face-to-face, as he is, and raising our bodies to share the glory of your Son’s immortal body. And while we wait, please continue to form your likeness in us as we meditate upon your powerful Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
