On the homepage, we stated that the goal of the course is “…an accurate understanding of the author’s original intent in a passage.” The skills needed to accomplish this goal were dividing up the text into its smallest grammatical units, indenting and drawing arrows to show relationships, labeling those relationships, and applying the main points of the passage. How well do you feel that these skills were taught in this course? Do you feel that the goal was achieved? How could the course be improved to better accomplish this goal?
