Lesson 1 | Searching a Topic
The Context of Search Results
You will often want to see a search result in its context. But you don’t want to have to leave your search results. Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. Just click the expand icon at the end of a search result.
As you note context, you will also want to pay attention to the placement of each search result within salvation history. This is a critical step for being able to rightly understand what the Bible is teaching. Being able to do so increases the more you read your Bible. (For more on this topic, see the Interpretation course.) Biblical History: A Printable ReferencepdfThis one-page reference provides a helpful overview of the biblical timeline. It provides dates for important people and events in the Bible. Finally, it places all 39 books of the Old Testament within their proper era. (From the Interpretation course.)
