Heavenly Father, we turn to you now as we begin thinking about how to better study your Word. We pray that the end of our efforts would indeed be to know you more. We open our lives before you afresh, and welcome your Spirit to sanctify us through the use of his mighty sword, for our hope and your honor. It is in and for Jesus we pray, amen.
