It really matters what God has said. This is the reason you are taking this course and the reason you read your Bible.
It is also the reason that it is worth your time to understand the footnotes. As you have learned, sometimes translations differ slightly due to alternative readings in the original language text. Many footnotes are dedicated to helping you be aware of and even understand this dynamic. "But they use unknown, super-scholarly lingo!" No worries, by the end of this one lesson you will be able to decode the vast majority of them.
