Lesson 4 | The Greek Article and Pronouns
Vocabulary
Before we begin learning new content in this lesson, let’s check to see how well you are learning the vocabulary from the last three lessons. If you get less than 16/20 correct on the first try, you should consider reviewing the vocabulary from previous lessons before continuing on.
For each question, choose the English word that best communicates the meaning of the Greek word.
For the remaining questions, pay special attention to the endings.
New Vocabulary
In this step, you will learn 18 new words:
4 Second Pattern Nouns (three of these are people’s names)
3 Pronouns (we will learn about pronouns later in this lesson)
3 Prepositions (along with the meanings they communicate in different cases)
3 Connectors
4 Verbs - Like Greek nouns, Greek verbs also change their form. We will memorize Greek verbs in a specific form (Present Active Indicative First Person Singular). For example, ἔχω means “I have.”
