Devotional — הֲתַחַת אֱלֹהִים אָנִי
Lord, we confess that so much of the sorrow, anger, and foolish behavior of our lives stems from our failure to recognize the roles that belong to you alone. It is so much better to accept our joyful place as creatures and to trust you to handle your part. By faith, we freshly commit to live lives ordered around this truth. Help us to always be ready to remind ourselves of this reality with the sweetly pointed question, “הֲתַחַת אֱלֹהִים אָנִי?” Amen.
