Lesson 4 | Types of Offline Clauses
Song: שִׁירוּ לַיהוה
Even if you don’t like to sing, the Lord exhorts you to do so because of his salvation. Certainly he is worthy of it!
For verses 1–2 of Psalm 98 says, “His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. The Lord has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.” We know today that he did this supremely at the cross; the lowest point of Christ’s humiliation was also the apex of his glory! So we can sing along with the psalm below, “שִׁ֤ירוּ לַֽיהוָ֨ה׀ שִׁ֣יר חָ֭דָשׁ”: “Oh sing to the Lord a new song.”
