Unpacking the Principle
- Three sources help us develop a biblical hermeneutic:
- Godly teachers provide us with a foundation.
- The Bible itself refines and develops our hermeneutic.
- God himself teaches and empowers us as we develop a biblical hermeneutic. (Repeated principle from lesson 2)
- The Biblical authors follow biblical principles as they interpret the Bible and expect their hearers/readers to do the same.
