Lesson 3 | The Third Pass: Arrows
Assignment: 2 Thessalonians 1:9-12
Now it’s time to see the structure of your phrase come together by using passes one, two, and three!
Do the First, Second, and Third Passes of DIALS (Divide, Indent, and Arrows).
Divide this passage into phrases.
Indent all subordinate phrases, extracting phrases and indenting phrases within lines as necessary.
Then add green curved arrows to all relative phrases, blue arrows to all genitive phrases, and yellow arrows to all other subordinate phrases.
When you are finished, continue to the next step and submit the lesson. After you do so, the instructor's work will be available for you to review while you wait for your coach to give you feedback (typically within 3-5 days).
