- Personalize your Phrasing by adding to the Third and Fourth Passes.
- Use dot notes.
- Highlight and color the text.
- Use separators, headers, and block labels to make the divisions of the text clear.
- Add boxes around main phrases.
- Use different colors of arrows for different types of phrases.
- Draw lines to connect words and concepts.
- Use other Bible study methods as well, such as Arcing and Bracketing.
