Studying Haggai
Before we finish the lesson with a review, a quiz, and a final assignment, let’s take a closer look at the Canonical Horizon with a passage from Haggai. I’ve chosen the first nine verses of Haggai 2, a single paragraph in the Hebrew text, and a long enough passage to explore several systematic theological themes.
As before, I won’t walk through the first step of Bible study here for time’s sake, but just share my arc and my phrase. Take a few minutes to look at the structure of the passage before you read the following paragraphs, and then answer the question underneath the images below.
